Unforgettable weddings await at Stockport Town Hall, a Victorian masterpiece in Greater Manchester. Its grand interiors, with vaulted ceilings, stained glass, and marble pillars, provide a sophisticated backdrop for your celebration.
Choose from the Assembly Room or Mayor's Parlour for ceremonies, adorned with original artwork and opulent furnishings. The Reception Suite offers space for a sumptuous wedding breakfast and evening reception, with a balcony overlooking the town square.
A gorgeous Grade II* listed building designed by architect Sir Alfred Brumwell Thomas. Stockport Town Hall, historically known as ‘The Wedding Cake’ due to its white façade and its beautifully designed tiered clock tower, is the perfect venue for your special day.
The Magnificent Double Italian Marble staircase provides a stunning backdrop for your ceremony or drinks reception.
It also provides an impressive entrance for you and your guests.
The Council’s official chambers benefit from an impressive domed ceiling with stained glass and decorative carvings on oak benches.
The Council Chamber can accommodate up to 160 guests for a Ceremony.
The Committee Suite is a versatile space, whether you’re looking for an intimate gathering or a larger celebration for up to 120 people. Beautiful oak panels, with a fabulous domed ceiling and stunning stained glass windows for immediate ‘wow factor’.
The Ballroom features a beautiful ceiling and stained glass windows, not to mention room for up to 600 guests. The Ballroom is our largest function room across all of our venues.
