Hi, My name is Ryo founder and principal photographer of Indigo Images.
Indigo Images is all about telling a natural documentary story of your day mixed with small amounts of editorial and traditional wedding photography. Capturing the originality, emotion and narrative of your special day from the background.
I pride myself on a fresh, personal and intimate style rather than set-up or 'posed' approaches to wedding photography. Documenting the key moments of the day in an unobtrusive and stylish way. Looking for moments that are so often missed in wedding photography. I strive to provide all the personality, humour and relationship of the couple, the guests and the day. Blending in to the background with my specialism that is reportage photography of people and their interactions.
I take great care to ensure that my couples feel relaxed in my presence and I just become a part of their big day. I am always paying close attention to what is happening around me and work to capture as many natural moments as they unfold by being in the right place at the right time.
